Fashion Stylist Training Course

This course focuses on women's clothing and accessories styling, and is suitable for anyone of any age:

• With some retail or fashion experience
• No experience or background in fashion at all
• Considering fashion styling as a part-time or full-time career
• Seeking to add to your existing skills in the fashion or retail industry

In this course, you will learn the basics of styling from body shape and type, to colors, step-by-step procedures on how to organize and conduct your consultations and the fine points of providing your services as a business owner.

After completing Day One of this course, you will be able to:

• Dress different female body shapes including plus size clients
• Assess the female body proportions
• Select the right styles and designs for each body shape
• Describe basic design principles,  ​fabrics and texture when dressing your client
• Use color & color techniques to build or enhance your client’s wardrobe

• How to create and budget for a basic wardrobe
• Learn to style a client from head to toe
• The pitfalls of personal styling - how to identify them and manage through them
